Hearts and Circles
The “Hearts and Circles” necklace by jewelry artist Patrizia-Romina Spenga is a piece from the ‘Circles’ collection.
Each heart with its sweeping curves is unique and handmade. Strung between red rocaille glass beads and mini freshwater pearls, this necklace reflects the craftsmanship and creative vision of the artist and strikes a balance between elegance and playfulness. The hearts, bent and forged from a fine, blackened silver sheet strip, appear to float. This necklace is a typical example of Spenga’s attention to detail and her ability to transform classic symbols into modern pieces of jewelry.

Description
The 'Circles' collection combines geometric shapes such as squares, rectangles, triangles, diamonds, circles, ovals, etc. with curves that interrupt them and change their direction. Shapes with straight lines and angles usually symbolize structure and order, while curves are softer and represent connection and community.
Strict geometric shapes are broken up and steered in a different direction. The resulting, partly organic forms convey movement, dynamism and spontaneity. By breaking up the strict forms, a deeper connection to the viewer can be created.
